Application matters regarding the Academic Year 2026 NSTC "Ph.D. Students Research Fellowship (Institutional Quota)" and MOE "Ph.D. Students Fellowship". Please be informed accordingly.
Details:
1. Application Deadline From now until 12:00 PM, Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.(Supplementary document submissions, replacements, or updates will not be accepted after submission.) Your cooperation is highly appreciated.
2. Eligibility
- NSTC "Ph.D. Students Research Fellowship (Institutional Quota)": Please refer to the relevant regulations in the university's "Implementation Guidelines for Distributing Government Agency Ph.D. Student Research Fellowships."
- MOE "Ph.D. Students Fellowship": Open to non-in-service 1st to 3rd-year Ph.D. students holding R.O.C. (Taiwan) nationality for the current academic year. (For detailed eligibility criteria, please refer to the section on "MOE Ph.D. Student Fellowship (Department/Institute Self-Funded Subsidies)" in the university's "Implementation Guidelines for Distributing Government Agency Ph.D. Student Research Fellowships.")
3. Required Documents Please prepare 1 hard copy and 1 PDF electronic file of the following materials, bound/arranged in order:
- Attachment 01: 2026 NSTC (Institutional Quota) / MOE "Ph.D. Students Fellowship" Application Form (The electronic file must be a scanned copy containing the signature/seal of the unit head).
- Attachment 02: 2026 University "Ph.D. Students Research Fellowship" Research Paper Points Calculation Sheet (The electronic file must be a scanned copy containing the applicant's signature).
- Supporting Documents: All relevant proof documents listed in the application form.
4. Selection & Evaluation Criteria The total score for this fellowship selection is 100 points, divided into Document Review (40%) and Oral Interview (60%). The document review criteria and point allocations are as follows (Approved during the 1st Graduate Research and Teaching Committee Meeting of 2026 on September 1, 2026):

Application Submission & Important Notes Before the deadline, please submit the completed application form and supporting documents—duly signed/stamped by the department head—to your respective Department/Graduate Institute Office. Late submissions will be considered a waiver of application rights.
6. Oral Interview Arrangements The oral interview is tentatively scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Room IR458, 4th Floor, First Teaching Building (International Academic Research Building). Any updates or changes will be notified via email. Please ensure that the email address provided on your application form is accurate. Please bring your presentation (PPT) file to the venue on the day of the interview.
