高醫國際化成果再創佳績！印尼瑪瑯伊斯蘭大學(UNISMA)副校長Dr. Erna Sulistyowati榮獲教育部「2026年第5屆全球留臺傑出校友獎」，更是高醫首位獲此殊榮的外籍校友！
「全球留臺傑出校友獎」由教育部自民國107年起每兩年舉辦，旨在表彰曾於臺灣留學，並於學術、產業、政治或人文領域具傑出成就與卓越貢獻之國際人才。每屆僅遴選5至10名得獎者，競爭相當激烈。
Dr. Erna於本校攻讀博士期間，師承本校副教務長兼藥理學科 葉竹來教授，在學期間研究表現優異。其研究聚焦於「印尼草藥透過抑制氧化壓力對自發性高血壓大鼠之抗高血壓與心血管保護作用」，展現深厚學術實力。
不僅於專業領域表現亮眼，Dr. Erna亦長期積極促進與母校之交流合作。今年(2026年)5月高醫代表團赴印尼交流期間，他熱情接待並協助促成高醫醫學院與UNISMA醫學院簽署合作備忘錄，為雙方未來深化學術合作奠定重要基礎。
Dr. Erna 將於今年11/1至11/5受邀來臺，並於11/2「全球留臺傑出校友獎頒獎典禮」中正式接受表揚，屆時亦將分享其在臺求學經驗與於高醫累積之研究成果。

We are delighted to congratulate our distinguished alumna, Dr. Erna Sulistyowati, on receiving the “2026 5th Distinguished Taiwan Alumni Award”!
Dr. Erna Sulistyowati, Vice President of Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA), Indonesia, has been honored with this prestigious award by the Ministry of Education. She is also the first international alumna from KMU to receive this distinction!
Established by the Ministry of Education in 2018 and held biennially, this award recognizes international talents who have studied in Taiwan and made outstanding achievements and contributions in academia, industry, politics, or the humanities. Only 5 to 10 recipients are selected each year, making it highly competitive.
During her doctoral studies at KMU, Dr. Erna studied under Prof. Jwu-Lai Yeh, Professor of Pharmacology. She demonstrated outstanding research performance, focusing on “Anti-hypertensive and cardiovascular protective effects of Indonesian herbal medicine through oxidative stress inhibition in spontaneously hypertensive rats,” showcasing her strong academic capabilities.
In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Erna has actively promoted collaboration with her alma mater. During KMU’s delegation visit to Indonesia in May 2026, she warmly received the team and facilitated the signing of a MOU between the Colleges of Medicine of KMU and UNISMA, laying a solid foundation for future academic collaboration. Dr. Erna will be invited to Taiwan from Nov 1 to Nov 5 this year and will be officially honored at the Award Ceremony on Nov 2. She will also share her study experience in Taiwan and her research achievements at KMU.
